12-WEEK MINDFULNESS MEDITATION TRAINING
FOR STRESS REDUCTION AND PERSONAL GROWTH - September 2013
As it will be clear during the course, these two goals are related.
This is a practical and experience based course in mindfulness practice. It is designed to develop a natural capacity we all have in varying degrees. Through practices that develop this capacity, we get insight into how stress and tension manifest in our lives and how to bring about balance and peace of mind no matter what our circumstances. This course is designed for those who are interested in reducing their stress level, in personal growth, and also for those who are interested in using mindfulness techniques in their professional lives.
Each session will include:
A talk introducing the focus for the day.
One or two practice periods.
Guided meditations and Q&A
Each session prepares the groundwork for the following sessions. Several CD's for home practice will be provided during the course. The same 12-week course will be offered in 2 different locations as described below:
Pointe-Claire

Mile-End
Offered by : Joseph Emet
Location: To be decided
Date and times: Tuesday evenings from 7:30 pm to 9 pm
Fall 2013 program: First session September 10- Last session November 26
Cost: 225 dollars for the course (students 150).

(Please note that it is not possible to attend sessions on a trial basis)
